For 15 years THE MUSICAL BOX has been re-enacting GENESIS performances as originally presented between 1973 and 1975.

In 2007 the band will tour in Europe with their Gabriel-era shows for the very last time - performing the legendary "SELLING ENGLAND BY THE POUND" concerts from 1973/74.

With thanks to Tony Banks for allowing access to the Farm Studio, The Musical Box has had the opportunity of reviewing the original "LAMB" multi-channel recordings in 2004. In 2006 during the UK leg of the tour, the band was allowed to access the "SELLING ENGLAND BY THE POUND" and "FOXTROT" mastertapes as well.



Some instruments and pieces on the album are very hard to pick out accurately. It has been a unique and valuable opportunity to be able to listen to the original recordings so that each instrument and vocal line can be identified and recognized in order to be able to more accurately reproduce this on stage. Sébastien (bass) and Denis (vocals) were able to go through each song and each of the 24-channel recordings to work out sections that had been previously difficult to hear. There were many surprises discovered on the tapes that never made it to the final version of the album.

C'est une super nouvelle qu'il va falloir suivre de près.
Tu sais, j'espère effectivement qu'ils passeront par Paris, mais même s'ils font Genève, cette fois-ci, on ne se fera pas avoir et on essaiera d'y aller. De Lyon, Genève est beaucoup plus près et pratique que Paris...

D'ailleurs, ce site parle aussi de la tournée du Poisson et vend même les places de concert et ils vendent des places pour le concert de La Loco le 8 novembre. Le truc, c'est qu'ils ont l'air d'être les seuls à être au coutant...
Si ça continue, il vont annuler le concert car ils n'auront vendu des places qu'à une poignée d'allemands...
On n'est pas aidé...
